Catalytic Converter Maintenance

The MF-3 should be cleaned periodically, approximately every two to three weeks (usually during an oil change). Follow the procedure below to clean and dry the unit.

[Safety precautions]

Do not install or remove the MF-3 from the fryer while the oil in the fryer is still hot or while there is a fire.

Cleaning procedure for the Catalytic Converter

1. Remove the catalytic device from the fryer.
2. Simply place the catalytic device in boiling water for approximately 30 minutes,
3. One cleaning is completed.

Note: Do not use soap or chemical detergents.

Wrap the unit with about 5 paper towels.

Place the unit on a table for about 3 minutes, then turn it over and wait for about 3 more minutes. 3.

Return the unit to the fryer. (Actually put it in the oil).

Now you are ready to go.

Note: It is very important to keep the device immersed in oil at all times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
